Common Questions

We understand there are many complexities involved in ordering replacement parts. Below are some common questions customers have. If you don’t find the answer you need here, please contact us.

Can I place my order online?

Yes! To shop our full catalog just click the Catalog tab in the upper right corner of our home page. Once you’ve registered, you’re all set. You can either place an order, or request a quote for pricing.

Your prices are great, why aren’t they listed?

There are a few reasons we don’t list prices online. The first reason is due to the dynamics of our pricing model. We operate on smaller margins. In order to do this we have to keep our pricing flexible. When our costs change up or down, we have to be able to adjust accordingly.

Also, we buy in bulk to save money and some clients do too. We have a few contracts based on some very large volumes. The prices on the specific items in those contracts can only be adjusted at certain times of the year. This creates a very complicated pricing model for those parts.

Last is related to overhead. We keep prices down by keeping our overhead down. Web sites that can handle live pricing changes are very expensive. When the costs come down, we’ll adopt the technology. Ultimately, implementing that technology today would mean higher costs to you.

How do I know the parts are current?

Two ways, first you can always call and ask. Or, we make our parts books available in PDF format on our website. We update those files any time we make a change to our parts books. The files are free to download and print or save as often as you like.

How do I know if you have the parts in stock?

Give us a call anytime at 800-467-3370 and ask. We are happy to quote prices and quantities to help you make your buying decisions.

What will my freight cost be?

Freight depends on what you order, where you want it delivered and how fast you need it. We ship parcel sizes, palletized Less Than full Load, and occasionally charter a full truck for extremely large orders. All according to your specific needs. We can overnight air if time is your most important factor. Our warehouse team evaluates each order to find the most economical and timely means of delivery. This method of shipping takes some time and coordination on our end but results in the best value for you the customer.

Why do you ask so many questions for what seem like simple orders?

The OEMs and component manufacturers make a lot of running part changes in order to improve quality, performance or safety. That means there are a lot of parts that look right and sound like the right fit, but just won’t fit your particular machine. Each question we ask is designed to help us ensure that the part we send you is the right part for your machine.

Why don’t you have kit numbers for blades, bolts, nuts, etc?

The OEM’s have a lot of kit combinations and a lot of our component parts are used in multiple kits. Given the many makes and models that we serve, it’s difficult (and costly) to keep them all current. Most Kits or bundles are actually designed to move more product and increase sales. “Would you like the full meal with fries and a supersized drink today?” instead of just the burger and small coke that we go in for. Our kits are designed with roadside maintenance in mind. If there are lots of small parts that are easy to overlook, we offer kits. Specifically our bearing and hub kits with races, hubs, nuts seals, cotter pins, etc… other than that, we simply try to help you think of all the parts you might need and leave you with the choice to buy or not. For example, we will remind you that it’s good practice to change you lock nuts every time you take them of for safety, or changing your blade bolts with the blades saves time ) but we don’t want to tie you into buying parts that you didn’t need to begin with.

Do you ship outside the Continental US?

We currently ship to Hawaii but not international.
